Stock Master
All pharmaceutical stock in the hospital is managed from a central stock master. The stock master carries all the information required to identify and classify each item.

Code Tables
The TriMed system is parameter driven in order to ensure maximum flexibility. All set-up choices are managed by means of “code tables”.
Orders, receipts, returns, transfers, adjustments
The TriMed system caters for all stock transactions with full audit trails and detailed financial reporting.
Level management (usage and levels)
Minimum and maximum levels can be set to assist medical facilities to optimise stock quantities for both internal storage areas and the pharmacy as the main storage area.
Auto replenishment
Stock can be replenished to optimum levels in all storage areas, based on usage or predefined levels.
Transaction Reports audit trails
The TriMed system caters for all stock transactions with full audit trails and detailed financial reporting.
Barcoding, printing, scanning
Stock accuracy can be significantly improved by using bar coding to bill and issue stock. These barcodes can be generated from the stock file information or the manufacturer bar codes can be used.

Batch control and expiry dates
The system caters for the management of batch and expiry date with reporting.
Consignment stock
Consignment stock is flagged so that it can be excluded from total stock holding.
Stock take
An auditable stock process allows stock values to be frozen, counted and the new balances captured. Variance reporting indicates areas for attention by management and stock controllers.
Patient Dispensing History
All prescription detail is available per patient per episode and full dispensing history for the patient over all episodes.
