TriFour Health recently installed a country wide Information System (HMIS) at Avenue Healthcare (AHC) in Kenya with amazing results, proving new technology can leapfrog existing paradigms in Africa.
We ware tasked to install TriMed, an integrated web-based HMIS at the hospital in Nairobi serving five on-line remote clinics in Mombasa, Kisumu, and Thika using networks provided by Safaricom.
AHC now manages patient throughput, daily billing and stock movements at each clinic in real time, or consolidate results and statistics for the group. Electronic Patient Records (EPR) are also shared across all facilities.
The use of mobile communication and modern web-based solutions has facilitated faster implementation, a sustainable network and high customer satisfaction, proving a better and more robust solution than conventional technology.
